![]() В субботу, 27 августа 2011 г. председателем Киевской городской государственной администрации Александром Поповым был торжественно открыт в парке «Нивки» первый скейт-парк в Киеве. Это был настоящий подарок молодёжи от киевских властей. Теперь у ребят и девушек, увлекающихся скейтбордингом есть возможность кататься и учиться этому мастерству в современном скейт-парке в родном и любимом Киеве. Именно по инициативе председателя КГГА Александра Попова в столице обустроили современный скейт-парк.
«Молодежь - это активная и очень перспективная часть населения нашего города, за ней будущее. Поэтому важно, чтобы это поколение росло здоровым, и именно спорт помогает укрепляться физически и развивать силу воли. К сожалению, до сих пор в Киеве не создавались условия для экстремальных видов спорта. Поэтому я рекомендовал главам райгосадминистраций одновременно с реконструкцией парков и скверов предусматривать обустройство спортивных площадок, в частности для таких видов спорта как скейтбординг », - сказал Александр Попов.
Также Александр Попов заверил, что в будущем городские власти планируют открыть по несколько таких специализированных парков и площадок в каждом районе Киева. Адрес скейт-парка:Станция метро «Берестейская», проспект Победы, 82 (возле памятника Д. С. Коротченко). Размер первого киевского скейт-парка, расположенного в парке «Нивки» составляет 20х21 м. Площадка ограждена со всех сторон, имеет идеальное асфальтовое покрытие, надлежащее освещение, а также, что очень немаловажно - скамейки для зрителей и спортсменов. Здесь смонтированы основные спортивные элементы скейт-парка: разгонки и квотерпайт, спайн, средний квотерпайп, перила закругленные, фан-бокс с перилами, джамп-бокс. Будем ждать открытия обещанных Александром Поповым специализированных парков и площадок для молодёжи в каждом районе Киева.
