 Одомашненным собакам и кошкам тяжело приходится жить на улице, особенно в холод – зимой и осенью им практически негде согреться, нечем питаться. Спасают в таких ситуациях от голода сердобольное население, которое подкармливают бродяг, не давая им умереть голодной смертью. Большое количество животных погибает на улицах, на дорогах под колёсами автомобилей. Видя бездомного котёнка или щенка на улице, мы всегда с болью осознаём, что в силу опре делённых финансовых, жилищных либо других трудностей мы не можем забрать это животное к себе в дом. Но мы всегда можем помочь и другими методами – например, информационными (распространив информацию среди друзей и знакомых о нужной помощи животному). Во многих странах существуют целые организации по защите животным, которые оказывают всяческую помощь животным, нуждающимся в ней. Одна из таких организаций - Молодёжная Лига Защиты Животных (МЛЗЖ). Молодёжная Лига Защиты Животных.Это неприбыльная общественная организация. На территории Киева и Киевской области действует уже 5 лет - организация официально зарегистрирована была 6 марта 2006 г. Основные цели и задачи деятельности Молодёжной Лиги Защиты Животных:- решение проблемы бездомных животных гуманными методами; - их защита и борьба с жестоким обращением; - создание необходимых условий для достойного сосуществования человека и животного; - укрепление морально-этических норм и повышение культурного уровня личности в ее отношениях с окружающим миром. Команда Лиги – это небезразличные к судьбе братьев наших меньших волонтёры-энтузиасты, которые своё свободное время проводят в спасении бездомных кошек и собак. Регулярно командой Лиги проводятся различные акции по привлечению внимания граждан к проблемам беззащитных животных. Волонтёры стараются устроить судьбу каждого своего подопечного, найденного больным или голодным на улице. www.dogicat.org - веб-сайт общественной организации «Молодёжная Лига Защиты Животных». На сайте работает форум, где можно пообщаться с волонтёрами и внести свой вклад в спасение обездоленных собак и кошек. Деятельность Лиги обеспечивается за счет пожертвований и средств, собранных при проведении благотворительных акций и мероприятий. Давайте будем оставаться людьми и помогать братьям нашим меньшим выжить. Кто чем может – даже самая малая помощь будет полезной и ценной. Самое страшное – это равнодушие…
